Experience Through Their Eyes

Some of the best sandwiches I have ever had, the friendliest staff, and one of the more unique and eclectic restaurants I have been to. We had the chef's signature pastrami and the "Bada Bing" panini. Both were absolutely delicious. The meat was piled high on each sandwich. All of the ingredients worked great together.

Discover an incredible culinary spot in Ironwood, Michigan. During our recent road trip, we had the pleasure of trying a variety of delicious dishes, including handcrafted tacos, a vibrant mixed greens salad, and warm, crusty paninis filled with melted mozzarella. The flavors were outstanding, showcasing high-quality, fresh ingredients, and the service was friendly and attentive. The interior was very nice that creates a welcoming atmosphere. I definitely can't wait to return for another fantastic meal.

A True Foodie Find in a Small Town! As someone who travels all over the country and is always on the hunt for flavorful, healthy options, I was genuinely impressed. If you're a foodie, you know how hard it is to find a place that skips the typical small-town "burgers and cheese-laden fries" vibe. This place is pretty darn good! They truly serve top-quality food here. Everything tasted fresh, and I was told they make almost everything from scratch, which makes a huge difference. Their menu offers a great variety, including delicious hot and cold sandwiches, a flavorful poke bowl, and great salads. The prices are reasonable and the portions are good. This is definitely not your average "Joe's bar and grill"--they are a cut above. If you're in the Ironwood area and like healthy options with great taste, this is the place to go. Trust me, I'm from the Chicago area where we have incredible food, so my standards are high!

The food was incredible! I ordered a sushi rice ball salad. I never expected to find such good ahi tuna here, but was pleasantly surprised. The dish was perfect. My family loved their turkey sandwiches, and said the homemade tzatziki on the gyros was great. We ordered Tractor Organic Juice, and it was AMAZING. There were so many fun flavors, and each was refreshing. The space was a fun and eclectic collection of goods for sale. It made for a fun stop for the afternoon. As a note, they do not offer tap water -- only bottled.

One of my new friends I met who is a chef up in Wakefield whose name is Mike. We got chatting at the bar on my holiday ski trip and he told me if I wanted the best darn sandwich or cup of soup in the upper Peninsula, I needed to come to Suffolk Street Eatery. He said it was a Deli and so much more. I don't know how many years this place has been open, but I will say that I've been coming up here since 1982. My new favorite breakfast joint is Pines and my new lunch place is Suffolk Street. If I was working remotely up here for a week, I could come here and have a cuppa coffee and have a sandwich and work from a table or a comfy cozy seat all day and it could be a blizzard outside and I wouldn't know the difference. This is the real deal. The people are amazing. My picky eater who is a 17 year-old loved everything he enjoyed a Panini and some chowder and the homemade egg potato salad. I will be back!!!

SUCH GOOD FOOD!!! Hubby had the Ruben - so good! I had the Asian Burnt Ends tacos. They were SO good! I'd expect food like this in Chicago, not in small town northern Michigan! So glad we stopped in! Super friendly, helpful staff, and great chefs too. Stop in! You won't regret it!
